Obituary of Charles Finnell

Charles "Charlie" Finnell Sr., age 72, of Independence KY. Passed away Wednesday, June 29th, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. Charlie served his country in the United States Army, as a Military Police Officer in Germany. He was a retired supervisor for Coppage Construction and loved serving his church and others. Charlie is survived by his wife, Christy Finnell; two sons, Charles R. Finnell Jr. and George R. Finnell; one daughter, Rena D. Finnell; two brothers Ralph L. Finnell, and Kenneth Finnell. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother George Finnell Jr. Visitation for Charles will be held on Wednesday July, 6th from 5-8 PM at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 7th, at 11 AM, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to any Veterans Charitable Organization.
