Obituary of Harry Jump

WALTON - Harry Sidney Jump, 70, died Friday, Jan. 16, at Kindred Hospital, Louisville. He was a land surveyor for the state of Kentucky, an Air Force veteran and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. He is preceded in death by his grandsons, Christian and Cody Jump. Survivors include his wife, Portia Webb Jump of Walton, daughter, Carla Pelcha of Florence; sons, Chris Jump of Florence, Colin Jump of Sparta and Corin Jump of Florence; stepdaughter, Summer Landrum of Verona; brother, Ralph Jump; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan 18, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Services are 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
