Obituary of John Daymond Gabbard

John Daymond Gabbard, age 78, of Fiskburg, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at his residence. Daymond enjoyed working on his farm and running his grocery store Grassy Creek Grocery in Demossville, KY. He is preceded in death by his sister, Avonale Gabbard. Daymond is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years, Meredith Wanda Gabbard; sons, Douglas (Lana) and Michael (Pam) Gabbard; brother, Willis Gabbard; sisters, Mildred Fox and Bernice Stanton; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence from 5 until 8 PM. Services will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Latonia Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to Latonia Full Gospel Pentecostal Church 4419 State Highway 177 East, Covington, KY 41015.
