Obituary of Marion Frakes

FLORENCE - Marion Earl Frakes, 89, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Florence, died Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Bridge at Garden Plaza, Indianapolis. He was a mechanic for United Parcel Service and a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Edna Dennler Frakes; daughter, Marlene Harry of Indianapolis; son, Ronald Frakes of Cincinnati; grandchildren Sandra Colwell of Greenwood, IN and Steven Fiedler of San Diego, CA; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, with service following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
