Obituary of Joy Mullins

Joy Lee Stahl Mullins, 64, of Covington, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood.
She retired from the Welcome House in Covington as an account manager in July. Joy's greatest love was spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her mom and step-dad Betty and Phillip Gardner; dad and step-mom Robert and Louise Stahl; and brother Robert Stahl.
Survivors include her daughter Kristy (Jesse) Sheridan of Independence; sister Ruth Riley of Dry Ridge; brother Buddy Gardner of Knoxville, TN; and several step-siblings.
Visitation will be at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence, Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Gardnersville Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40203.
