Obituary of James Burden

WALTON - James Burden, 70, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice in Edgewood He was vice president of Paperworks, formerly known as Redeker and Dick; a member, deacon and Sunday school director at First Baptist Church, Walton; a 32nd degree Mason/Scottish Rite member of Walton-Verona Masonic Lodge; and a former Knothole baseball coach who enjoyed Dale Hollow Lake, woodworking, lawn maintenance and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Carol Burden of Walton; sons, Randy Burden of Walton and Michael Burden of Verona; daughter, Diana Burden Webster of Walton; sister, Jean Benton, and brother, Prentis Burden, both of Sarasota, Fla.; brother, Bill Burden of Erlanger; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, and services at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at First Baptist Church of Walton. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
