Obituary of Charles Alsip

Charles "Andy" Andrew Alsip, age 60, of Walton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He worked for City Dash as a truck driver, and in previous years for Emery. Andy enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of NRA and KY of Field. Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gwendolyn. He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Brenda; children, Jason (Melissa) Alsip and Natalie "Sharee" Clark; siblings, Beverly (Al) Ruggiero, Chris (Patricia) Alsip, and Kelly (Joe) Whittington; grandchildren, Sydney and Weslee Alsip and Kaylah Clayton; best friend, Jim Dishon; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. A visitation for Andy will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 9AM until the time of the funeral service, 11AM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Dr. Edgewood, KY 41017.
