Obituary of Gertrude Erma Sexton

Gertrude Erma Evans Sexton, 72, of Florence, died Friday at Florence Park Care Center. She was a former assembly line worker with Kenner and Hasbro Toys and a member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Her husband, Kenneth Sexton, preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, James Brewster of Independence, Robert Brewster of Burlington and Kenneth Sexton of Portsmouth, Ohio; a brother, Fred Evans of Lansing, Tenn.; sisters, Hazel Crouch and Margaret Brown, both of Burrville, Tenn., Lula Hill of New Carlisle, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 7 tonight at Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati. Memorials are suggested to Community Christian Academy, 11875 Taylor Mill Road, Independence, Ky. 41051. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
