Leslie C. "Boone" Heuser Jr., 76 of Independence, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his residence. Boone was disabled as a maintainence worker for Kenton County Public Works. He was a member of the Covington Masonic Lodge and enjoyed bowling, fishing and watching NASCAR racing. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita Taylor Heuser, parents, Leslie Heuser Sr. and Clara Milburn Heuser, grand-daughter, Brittany Depew, sister, Joyce Kenney and brother, Clive Heuser. "Boone" is survived by a daughter, Tina Langguth (Robert), sons, Randy Heuser (Nina) and Scott Heuser (Susan), sisters, Linda Tye, Brenda Norton, brothers, Harold Heuser (Sharon), Larry, Curtis and Bobby Heuser, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm with the funeral service beginning at 7 pm. Memorial donations are suggested to: American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200 Rye Brook, NY 10573.
