Obituary of Lucy Eckler

BURLINGTON - Lucy E. Pennington Eckler, 84, died, Monday, March 11, at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker and member of Greenview Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Eckler; son, Philip Eckler of Burlington; brother, Leon Pennington of Phoenix, Ariz.; one grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 14, with service following at Greenview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.
