Bessie was someone who I always knew. She was someone that was a part of my mom, a good friend. Mom and Bessie spent alot of time together. They would shop, go to lunch, gardening and most importantly church. They were both members of Belleview Baptist Church. Although a few years apart they were the best of friends. My mom, Jeannie Rowland was in need of a more intensive care to maintain her livelihood, she had to leave her beloved Belleview. When able we would bring her back to her community, she always wanted to see Bessie. Years go by, and one day theres Bessie living in the same nursing home as mom. Bessie was excited to see mom, mom also gave a feeling of remembrance. Although there wasn't many meetings between the two, I felt that for both there was a comfort. As they both were coming to the end of there lives, no one knew until both had gone, that once again two friends completed what would be their final journey. As it was stated to me, within minutes of each other. Knowing that these two special ladies entered into heaven together only makes me smile, gives me peace. Their friendship will always to remembered, the bond will never be broken. My family shares your grief but Thanks you for giving my mom such a special friend, Bessie!!!
