Mary Louella Parks, age 91, of Florence, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 8th, 2017.
Mary was born in Cincinnati, OH, to Otto and Ida Wurtz. She was a retired bookkeeper for Great American Insurance Company. In her spare time Mary enjoyed going bowling and fishing; she was also a member of the Newport Lady Moose Lodge. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Parks, her parents, and sisters: Dorothy, Melba and Ida Mae. Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Meyers (Dale), grandchildren, Craig (Valarie), and Brian (Brenda) Meyers, nieces, Dottie Stoakley, and Vicky Greco, nephew, Jerry Greco, great-grandchildren, Jonathan (Candice), and Matthew Meyers, Samantha and Mikey Lambert, Lindsay Chandler, and Justin Vallance.
A visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, January, 11 at Chambers & Grubbs Florence, from 11 to 1 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made payable to the Young at Heart Ministries at Christ Chapel, 3819 Turfway Road, Erlanger, KY, 41018. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
