Obituary of Jacqueline Abdullah

Jacqueline Frances Abdullah, age 75, of Independence, formerly of Long Island, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Roxbury, Jacqueline attended school at St. Brendan's. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, collecting things, but most of all, her love for her Rottweilers. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Engler, daughter, Tereasa Aguis, son, John Abdullah and her service dog, Axl. Jacqueline is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Nelson; daughter, Karen Garone; 6 grandchildren; her beloved Rottweilers, Ruffin and Bessie and many other loving family members and friends. A visitation for Jacqueline will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5PM until 7PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 472 Beaver Rd, Walton, KY 41094, beginning at 10AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Memorial donations are suggested to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.
