Obituary of Samuel Milburn

Samuel Mac Arthur Milburn, age 65, passed away early Friday, March 31, 2017. Sam was retired from Honeywell Aerospace as an engineer. He was a proud US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the East Coast Christian Church, Merritt Island, Florida, where he was a founder of the church food kitchen for the needy and very involved with the daycare there, as well as the coffee shop. Sam enjoyed reading and watching classic movies. He is preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Lydia Milburn and also a brother; Thomas Milburn. He is survived by 4 loving sisters; Jacqueline MacVicar (Edwin), Sandra Sims, JoAnn Deaton (Randall) and Telisa Emmons (Shawn), along with many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017, from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10 AM. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery near London, KY. Memorial donations are suggested to: Hospice of St. Elizabeth, 483 S. Loop Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017.
