Obituary of Melissa Wright

Melissa Dawn Snider Wright, age 39, of Alexandria, KY passed away suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence. She was a server at Bob Evans Restaurant in Cold Spring (where she recently received an award as "Best Server") and a member of Piner Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, tanning, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her son, Brasen Kelly, and her husband, Vince Kelly, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Raymond Wright; children, Joshua Daniel Igo, Brittany Kelly, and Austin Kelly; step-children, Misha Wright, Megan Wright, and Brooke Wright; grandchildren, Cameron Igo, Casey Igo, Brantley Igo, and Tatum Price; father, Carl Snider (Sandy) and mother, Cathy Saylor (Alan); brother, Chad Snider (Andrea); step-sister, Dana Winters; and grandmother, Versie Bowling. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services immediately following at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria, KY. Memorials may be made to the Wright Family, c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
