Allen Coleman, 57, of Independence, beloved husband of Candy (Kendal) Coleman, passed away in his home on April 29, 2012 under Hospice of St. Elizabeth's Care. Father of Tosha (Willie) Harbin of Florence, KY, Starr Coleman of Cincinnati, OH, Stephanie (Billy) Ring of Florence, KY, JR (Denise) Coleman of Florence, KY and Anthony Coleman of Burlington, KY. Stepfather of April Whites of Stanford, KY, Jamie Crawford of Villa Hills, KY, Willie Bishop of Stanford, KY and Buddy Bishop of Casey County, KY. Dear brother of Constance Surgener, Donald G. Coleman Jr., Wesley Coleman, Joyce Hool, and Paul Coleman. Grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Other family members and a host of friends. Allen was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Coleman, Sr. and his mother, Agnes Joyce (Smith) Coleman, along with his daughter, Angie Nadler. Allen was a member of The Shield of Faith Pentecostal Church in Newport, KY. Services and viewing be held at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, located at 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051 on May 3, 2012. Visitation at 10:30AM and the funeral at 12:30PM.
