Obituary of Virginia Barhorst

Virginia Marion Hacker Barhorst, 85 of Independence died Friday, May 15, 2009 at her home in Independence. She was a homemaker and a member of Independence American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Barhorst in 2003. She is survived by daughter April Barhorst of Independence; son Jeffrey Barhorst of Arlington, VA; 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.
