Obituary of Rondal Osborne

Rondal B. Osborne, age 91, of Independence, died Saturday at Villa Spring Care Center in Erlanger. He was the owner/operator of Osborne's Barber Shop in Covington (for over 67 years), a member and former deacon of Ashland Avenue Baptist, former deacon, trustee, comptroller, and Sunday School Superintendent at Southside Baptist Church in Covington, and a Navy Veteran of W.W.II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Osborne and daughter, Sherry Compton in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Arleen Hickey of Independence; son, Rondal Brian Osborne of Independence; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11:30 Wednesday with military honors.
Memorials can be made to Ashland Avenue Baptist, Southside Baptist or Calvary Baptist
