Dear Myra, Steve, Doug, and Kerry, My heart hurts for all of you and my love and prayers are with you. Jack and I always enjoyed visiting with you all at Joan's and at your home in Walton. When I think of you wonderful folks I think of how happy all of you were to show me the hobby horse that Steve used to practice riding. I think Tex said he made it. We all had great hopes for the future and our wishes were fulfilled. I think now Tex is busy being welcomed by Joan, Jack, and many many others. You will miss him. I only hope and pray your faith and many joy filled memories will give you strength and courage. As always with love, Ann

Myra, Stevie, Doug and Kerry: Wayne and I were shocked and saddened by the news of Tex's passing. We often think of all of you and how proud Tex was of his boys and of course his beautiful bride. Stevie, and Doug you were in Wayne's first 4-H group when he came home from Vietnam. Steve the great rider, Doug, the quiet one and Kerry, who could forget your "why did the chicken cross the road" jokes. Myra you were always such a classy lady we all admired. Tex was a wonderful blacksmith, and a very special person in our lives. We were blessed to know all of you.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Tex. A wonderful man from a great family. I remember how marvelous Tex and Myra were when my Mom was ill, taking time out from their hectic schedule to spend time with her. I remember spending the day of the Belmont Stakes with Tex and Myra and how proud they both were. But the biggest accomplishment was the wonderful family they raised. I am proud to say I knew Tex a little and wish it was more than that.

I am so sorry to hear that Ronald has died. I feel I know him somewhat as I have bought the book "The Kid" about Steve Cauthen, and I read some of it. It just seemed so much about gambling to me. Anyway I have looked for information about Ronald's Texas family--I found where his father is buried in Sweetwater, Texas for Glynna Critz, who is Ronald's cousin and my cousin. If any of you want to contact Glynna, please email me and I will put you in contact with her. My sympathies for your loss. Ella Bullard -- ellab79504@yahoo.com
