MORNING VIEW - Ina "Faye" Gabbard Holbrook, 75, of Morning View died Friday, June 5, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Florence. She was a 5th grade teacher for 35 years at Kenton Elementary School and retired in 1992. She was a member of Morning View Methodist Church and Church Choir, member of Retired Teachers Association of Northern Kentucky; was a Kentucky Colonel and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. She was preceded in death by her brother Bob Gabbard. She is survived by husband Grover Holbrook of Morning View, daughter Lisa Bracke of Alexandria, son Gary Holbrook of Morning View and 5 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Thursday also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery in Independence.
