Obituary of Mabel Piper

INDEPENDENCE - Mabel Lee Benson Piper, 81, died Saturday, June 13, at her home. She was a homemaker, a cook for Taylor Mill Elementary School and member of Independence Christian Church. Her husband, Palmer Piper, died previously. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Piper Carder of Covington; sons, Ron Piper, Tim Piper and Jeff Piper all of Independence; sister, Rose Coppage of Nicholson; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 15, with service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, 483 South Loop Dr. Edgewood, KY 41017.
