Obituary of Paul Hendrickson

INDEPENDENCE - Paul Hendrickson, Sr., 89, of Martinsville, IN formerly of Independence died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at his residence. He was a self-employed skilled carpenter, attended the Gathering Place Church of Florence, was a student of the Bible, enjoyed gardening and hunting and was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Myra Hendrickson in 1999, son Butch Hendrickson in 2004 and grandson Scott Ruby in 1991. Survivors include 2 daughters Judy Wolfinbarger of Owenton and Linda Ruby of Morning View; son George Michael Hendrickson of Burlington; 2 sisters Lillie Elliott of Beechgrove, IN and Esther Helton of Middlesboro, IN; 2 brothers Homer Hendrickson of Greenwood, IN and Marion Hendrickson of Martinsville, IN and 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 AM-12 Noon Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Chambers and Grubbs of Independence. Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
