BURLINGTON - John Russell Rich, 81, formerly of Morning View died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Baptist Village Care Center of Erlanger. He was a Funeral Director and Embalmer and worked for Allison & Rose and Parker, Washburn & Pannel Funeral Homes. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the Kentucky Funeral Directors' Association and enjoyed NASCAR Races. Survivors include his wife Lois "Pat" Reum Rich; Daughtrer Rita Mitchell of Ferndale, FL; 2 Sons John A. Rich of Walton and David R. Rich of Mount Verd, FL; Step-son Martin Scheider of Ekrin, KY; Sister Alice G. Wood of Union; Brother Robert F. Rich of Union; 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Chambers and Grubbs of Independence. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11 AM also at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
