Obituary of Raymond Orme

PINER - Raymond Orme, age 84, died Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Bluegrass Care & Rehabilitation Center in Lexington, KY. He was a retired fork lift operator for Nadaco, an U.S. Army Veteran and had a love for horses. Mr. Orme was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Orme in 2002. He is survived by (4) sons, Larry Orme of Piner, Billy Ray Orme of Shadow Hills, CA, Dale Peebles of Sherman, KY, and Harold Wilson of Corbin, KY; (4) daughters, Doris Webster of Waterloo, KY, Janice Larison of Union, KY, Joan Brown of Piner, and Cherry Peebles Smith of Foley, AL; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Independence Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to a hospice of choice.
