INDEPENDENCE - Vivian Loraine Armstrong, 80 of Independence passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare Edgewood. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Armstrong in 2008. Survivors include 2 daughters, Cheryl Jones and Crystal Schoborg of Independence; 2 sons, Johnny Armstrong and Jeff Armstrong of Independence; 14 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence with funeral service Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Garden.
Memorials: Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
