FLORENCE - Robert A. Zimmerman, 89 of Florence died Friday, August 28, 2009 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a farmer, truck driver for Huey/Lambert Trucking Company, shuttle bus driver for the airport, WWII Army Veteran and a member of Hopeful Lutheran Church who enjoyed traveling, camping and boating. Survivors include his wife Catherine Gilpin Zimmerman; four daughters, Donna Gruelle of Walton, Glenna Galbraith of Walton, Bobbie Craddock of Union and Linda Howe of Walton; sister Mary Ella Stark of Batesville, IN; 2 brothers, Harold Zimmerman of Burlington and Marvin Zimmerman of Erlanger; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 AM-12:00 Noon, Monday, August 31, 2009 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence. Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery.
