It was so nice to see everyone at the viewing Sunday night. It hurts so much to know that someone I revered so much in this life has gone on, but happy she has gone to be with the Lord. She is someone I will remember forever. She was always someone I looked up too and someone that I will always remember smiling (can see her face now) and having something nice to say to me. Becky and Donna-I too share your grief and know somehow-someway-God helps us thru troubled times--It was nice to see all of you the other night. May God strengthen and help each one of the family-My love and prayers for all the family.

I was looking for another friend that had recently passed away and was shocked to see Joyce's name. She and my mother (Marie Shields) worked together for several years for the Carlisle family. Mom is 85 and lives with my husband and I now. I met Joyce on several occasions and also attended revivals at her church in Newport. She was a very special lady and heaven has another "saint". God bless the family...you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Sis. Becky, Bro. Scott and Sis. Jennifer, Loss is never easy and you never really get over it but everyday is a healing day when a special memory or a loving thought comes to mind about a loved one that has left us. Just knowing that they are with our loving heavenly Father helps the pain to be bearable....what better thing could ever take place in a life than that we go HOME to evermore be with HIM! We just want to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all, that not just now but also in the days ahead of you that you feel the comfort of our loving Saviour holding you in His arms. Love and Prayers, Jeff, Lisa, Alyssa and Travis

To the family,Less than two weeks ago I visited your mother. Sitting on her front porch the laughs rolled as we shared stories. She looked so lovely, never showing any signs of past illness. My last memory of her is when she showed me the kitchen table and how it expanded to accommmodate a larger setting. I believe she will now be seated at the Lords table where there is no more sickness. With sympathy. A.Miller.
