Obituary of John Stanley Conley

COVINGTON - John Stanley Conley, age 70, of Covington, died Sunday at his daughter's residence in Crittenden. He was a former Yard Brakeman for C & O Railroad and a member of Community Family Church. Mr. Conley was preceded in death by (2) sons, Gregory Allen Conley and David Hensley; daughter, Barbara Conley Bright; grand-daughter, Edna Cook. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Rice Conley of Covington; (2) daughters, Nancy Cook of Crittenden and Verna Blevins of Covington: (2) sons, Jeff Conley & Guy Conley of Covington; sister, Teresa Conley of Elsmere; brother, Rodney Conley of Elsmere; Step-brother, Wayne Singer of Elsmere; Step-sister, Roberta Singer of Elsmere; (13) grandchildren and (6) great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Community Family Church at 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials can be made to Community Family Church.
