I did not know Amos personally, however, I knew of him and his character through the eyes of his daughter, Cindy Wells, co-worker and friend. My heart goes out to Cindy and her family that have been hit with such a shocking loss. May you all find comfort in knowing that Amos is with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5: 6-8 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:). 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Amos, even though I only met you once, I was so happy to know how thrilled Garlene was to have you in her life. I know you came late into her life and left too early but you were so very important and so loved by her. She often regaled me with such loving stories about you when you two were dating. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this sorrowful time.
