Obituary of Fredrick Gilliland

Frederick Allen Gilliland, age 78, of Demossville, KY, formerly Urbana, IL, died Wednesday at Rosedale Manor, Covington, KY. Mr. Gilliland was a retired Animal Control Officer for the City of Urbana, IL, and a member of the black powder muzzle loader club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hutson Gilliland in 2005. Survivors include (2) daughters, Penney Dalton of Virginia Beach, VA and Darla Knox of Demossville, KY; sister, Garnet Grein of Champaign, IL; brother Francis Gilliland of Champaign, IL; (5) grandchildren; and (1) great-grandchild. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana, IL. Services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Urbana.
