DRY RIDGE - Jesse Vernon McKnight, 63, of Dry Ridge, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at his residence. He was a Security Guard for Allied Barton for 12 yrs. A US Army and Retired Navy Veteran. A member of Open Door Baptist Church in Dry Ridge. He was involved with Feed the Children Organization. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Preceded in death by his brother Vincent McKnight. Survived by wife Debbie McKnight, 2 daughters Tina McKnight Petty, of Florence, Ky., Rita Darlington, of Indiana, son Charles V. McKnight, of Houston, Tx. Step daughter Mildred Sprague, of Lexington, Ky, Step son Mark Sprague, of Dry Ridge, Ky, Brother Wayne McKnight, of Florence, Ky. and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 pm. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Funeral service will be Monday at 11:30 am. Services will be held at Chambers and Grubbs Florence location.
