Obituary of Orville Ransom

Orville Merrill Ransom, 88, of Taylor Mill, died Sunday at St. Charles Care Center, Covington. He was a retired engineer from Ford Motor Co., and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Latonia Lakes, and Masonic Lodge No. 109.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Webster Ransom; a son, Kenneth L. Ransom of Taylor Mill; daughters, Claudia A. Barnickle of Independence and Eileen J. Ransom of Dry Ridge; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday.
