INDEPENDENCE - Karl George Blasi, 74 of Independence died at home Saturday, January 16, 2010. He was a photo engraver for MacKay Gravuer Systems of Florence. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Clubs of Louisville, a member of the GCIU (Graphic Communications International Union) Local #619 and served as their Secretary/Treasurer. He is survived by his wife April Blasi of Independence, daughter Karen Davey of Milford, OH; 2 sons Ryan Northcut of Louisville and Derek Blasi of Independence; 2 sisters, Mary Francis Waller of Circle, MT and Claudia Jones of Louisville; brother Richard Blasi, Sr. of Louisville and 2 Grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be from 3 PM until time of Memorial Service at 5 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Chambers and Grubbs of Florence
