COVINGTON - Velma "Jane" Carlisle Covington, 59, died Sunday January 17, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was a disabled licensed Practical Nurse for
St. Johns Nursing Home who enjoyed playing euchre. She was a member of Newport VFW Ladies Auxillary. Survived by daughter Tara Hall of Dry Ridge, son Douglas Covington, of Covington, 5 brothers Jerry McMillian of Charlotte, N.C., Wayne Carlisle Jr., Walton, Leslie Carlisle, Dry Ridge, Larry Carlisle, Williamstown and Gary Carlisle, Ft. Wright. Also 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday 10-12 noon at First Baptist Church of Walton with the funeral ceremony immediately following. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton serving the family.
