UNION - Bud Koopman Jr., 78, died Friday, January 22, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Edgewood. Retired from both P&G as Electrical Engineer and the US Navy. Member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and MYF leader, 32nd degree Mason of Unity Lodge # 478 and Scottish Rite. Also former Boy Scout Leader. Preceded in death by sisters, Ailene Sponsler and Joan Koopman. Survived by wife Shelby "Jeanne"Compton Koopman of 53 years, daughters, Dawn Larson, Mason, Oh and Joanie Loch, Ft. Wayne, In. Son, Mark Koopman, Cambridge, Mass., sister, Margie Paolucci, Oregon and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday January 24, 2010 at Chambers & Grubbs Independence 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be Monday, January 25, 2010 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Lakeside Park at 11 am. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
