Obituary of Audney Hensley

TAYLOR MILL - Audney Marie Brock Hensley, age 89, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Health Care of Edgewood. She was a homemaker, a member of Community Family Church, and served together with her husband, Rev. Harley Hensley, Sr. in ministry for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997 and three sons, Robert in 1995, and Harley, Jr. and John in 2002. Survivors include (3) daughters, Barbara Ballard of Independence, Irene Schwaller of Independence, and Judy Ireland of Florence; (2) sons, Dennis Hensley of Taylor Mill and Jesse Hensley of Williamstown; (2) sisters, Mildred Cox of Tulsa, OK and Ruby Hodge of Covington; brother, Lee Brock of Newport; (25) grandchildren; (48) great grandchildren; (20) great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m., with a special music service beginning at 7 p.m., at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Community Family Church.
