Obituary of Doreen Lewis

UNION - Doreen May Hatfield Lewis, 89, of Union formerly of Bellingham, WA died Monday, February 8, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and worked as an inspector for the USDA, an Army Veteran, a member of AAUW (American Association of University Women), Secretary of the Assoc. of Women Veterinarians, volunteer for the Red Cross and volunteered as a teacher for the ESL(English as a Second Language) Program. She was preceded in death by her husband Earle D. Lewis. Survivors include daughter Betsy Gully of Union; 2 sons Ken Lewis of Bellingham, WA and David Lewis of Cold Brook, NY and 8 Grandchildren.
