Obituary of Wallace Wireman

WALTON - Wallace Howe Wireman, age 90 of Walton, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. Mr. Wireman was an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, inventor, author, and owner of AQW Inc. in Walton. He was a member of the Walton Christian Church, the Walton-Verona Masonic Lodge #719 F.A.M. and Who's Who of American Inventors. Throughout his life he was honored to receive the U.S. Department of Defense Award for Value Engineering and two Keys to the City of Walton. Mr. Wireman was a proud veteran of the 20th Air Force U.S. Army Air Force Pacific Theater as a sergeant in WWII. He also was the holder of 12 U.S. Patents and two Registered Trademarks. His son, Harry R. Wireman, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Frances Flynn Wireman of Walton; son, K.F. Fulmer, Esquire of Walton; (2) step-children, Richard Stephens of Walton and Gisele Fulmer Mann of Walton; sister, Doris Bailey of Seattle, WA; (3) granddaughters; and (2) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Walton. Masonic services will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be Saturday at Walton Cemetery.
