Obituary of Larry Works

Larry E. Works, Sr., age 71, of Erlanger, died Tuesday, March 2 at his home. He was a retired technician for Proctor and Gamble and Viox, an Army and Navy Veteran, a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed teaching and being outside. He is preceded in death by his sister, Jemina Works in 2009. Mr. Works is survived by his spouse, Pamela Joy Works; (2) daughters Cheralyn Works of Independence and Jessica Works of Erlanger; (4) sons, Mark Works, Larry Works Jr, and Scott Works all of Erlanger, and David Works of Crittenden; (4) sisters, Donna Works of Cleveland, Marsha Works of Erlanger, Jeanette Vafai of GA, and Maureen Fancher of Burlington; (2) brothers, Mike Works of Florence, and Jimmy Works of Barbourville, KY; (3) grandchildren and (1) Great-granddaughter. The visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Independence. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m at the funeral home.
