I was with Theresa at class Monday night. She was her own saucy self and she helped all of us to wade through the history and polity of the Church of the Nazarene these last weeks. May God shepherd you through these days of grief. She spoke of you, her family, with love.

Rachel, I don't know if you remember me, but we went to Gateway together. I read about your mom in the paper and I'm so sorry. I know how hard this is as I lost my mom 10 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your brother. I'd love to hear from you and if you need anything, even though we haven't talked in years, I'm here.

The first time I met Theresa and her husband, David was at a Good Friday service several years ago at Br.Lee Stanton's church. I remember she sang "I Claim the Blood". We became better acquainted through the years.. we often met up in WalMart and she would stop in often at JoAnn Fabrics when I worked there, and we would stand and talk for long periods of time. The last time I saw Theresa was at our family yard sale last fall, where she was buying some of my son's old toys for her grandchildren.
Theresa was a very sweet woman with great christian values and a strong faith in God. I was so saddened to hear of her passing and will miss her. My deepest sympathy is with her children and grandchildren. My thoughts are with you and I pray that God gives you peace and comfort as you reflect in the memories of your mother. Grief is certain.... but may joy fill your heart as you remember the wonderful person she was! ... and remember, the parting is only temporary, and think of the wonderful reunion she is having with your father!

To David and Rachel, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know that you are going to really miss her and that it is going to be hard not having her here. So go ahead and miss her and even be sad that she is gone, but don't be sad for her, because she is now at home with our Lord and Savior and now with your Dad the Love of Her life. I know that your Mom loved the two of you more then anything here on this earth. I also know that she had to be crazy about her Grandchildren, because she loved children. Theresa was a wonderful teacher and had a way of teaching the lesson that made you want to listen. She was great with the children and she enjoyed singing and we always enjoyed hearing her sing. No matter if it was working with the children, teaching a class or singing a song, she loved worshiping with the Lord. Theresa was very spiritual and walked close with God. She also touch many hearts spiritually, I know this for a fact because one of the hearts that she touched was mine. Theresa will be greatly missed by many. David and Rachel, I want you to know that you mean a lot to me and I think of you often. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God be with you now and in the days to come. Love Regina
