DEMOSSVILLE - Rolla R. "Cowboy" Napier, 71, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He retired as a checker from Duro Bag Co. after more than 30 years, a forklift operator for American Standard of Cincinnati, a farmer, a member of Latonia Christian Church and a Master Mason of the Walton/Verona Lodge #719. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Stephenson Napier Feb.22, 2010. Survivors include 3 daughters Rene Napier of Cincinnati, Janine Moeller of Independence, Audra Napier of Crittenden; 2 sons Marvin Napier of Walton, Clinton Napier of Demossville; sister Shirley Napier Beach of Independence; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Monday, March 8, 2010 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton with Masonic Service at 6:30 PM. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 also at the funeral home. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
