FLORENCE - David Wayne Wood, 54, of Florence passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a Pipefitter for the Local Union #392 Pipefitters, member and past master of the Boone/Union Masonic Lodge #304 and Elvin E. Helms Masonic Lodge #926 of Petersburg and a member of the Covington Scottish Rite Bodies. Survivors include his wife Deborah Carpenter Wood; daughter Amanda Wood Dennis and Son-in-law Bill Dennis of Independence; twin sister Diane Wood Nix of Crystal River, FL; three brothers Roy Rush Wood, III of Crystal River, FL, Joe Wood of Lyman, SC and Dennis Wood of Anderson, SC and one Grandson Billy Dennis, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5-8 Friday, March 19, 2010 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence with Masonic Service at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery of Florence.
