FLORENCE - Gerald Eugene Means, 73, of Florence, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a retired truck driver for Nations Way Trucking, a member of the Local 100 Teamsters, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of Christ Chapel Church in Erlanger. Mr. Means enjoyed carpentry work and was involved with various building projects at Christ Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Janice Rhea Ligon of Florence; (2) daughters, Jennifer Clapp of Villa Hills and Jenee Hunt of Independence; (2) sisters, Jeanette Henderson of Elizabethtown, KY and Carolyn Applegate of Russell, KY; and (2) grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Christ Chapel Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Burlington Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the Christ Chapel Church at 3819 Turfway Road
Erlanger, KY 41018.
