Obituary of Sotirios Katsaros

FLORENCE - Sotirios "Sam" Katsaros, age 73, of Florence, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healtcare Florence. He was a retired, self-employed, painter for Sam K. Painting. Mr. Katsaros was also a former merchant marine and loved horses. He is survived by his wife, Viviane Pollatschek Katsaros of Florence, (2) daughters, Sophia Teffner of Warren, OH and Alissa Katsaros of Akron, OH; (2) sisters, Katie Koenigsberg of Warren, OH and Evantia Katsaros of Greece; and (1) grandson.
There will be no formal services, Mr. Katsaros will be cremated. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence is handling the arrangements.
Memorials can be made to Holy Trinity-Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Road Cincinnati, OH 45224-1331.
