MONTGOMERY, OH - Billy Green, 78, formerly of Florence, KY, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. He was a retired Facility Engineer at G.E., a member of First Church of God, Latonia, the Jaycees, an Army Veteran of Korean War and formerly volunteered for the Taylor Mill Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his wife Velma Cruey Green in 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Paula New (Cecil) of Loveland, OH, sister Barbara Wilson of Burlington, KY and grandchildren Jonathan William New (Erin) of Columbus, OH and Mary Elizabeth New of Cincinnati, OH.
Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be Friday at 11am at the funeral home.
