Aunt Maxine was like a second Mom to me, I have such wonderful memories of her. I remember the time I was riding my bike double off the hill top with Patty McBee and we crashed. We went to Aunt Maxine, bleeding and bruised and she cleaned us up and said what were you girls thinking, of course we said, we didn't have a clue. And I remember the tricks her and Uncle James would play on us kids, the man in the moon, the big black toe that live in my attic, hunting night crawlers, the birthday parties on the hill top and the games, for instances being blind folded and pointing to a horses butt and putting your hand in a bowl of oat meal. I had so much love as a child living on that hill top with Mom and Dad and with my second Mom and Dad Aunt Maxine and Uncle James. Praise the Lord, she is with the Lord today and with Uncle James. I will always cherish the memories and love. I love you, Aunt Maxine. Linda Embry Whittman
