WALTON - Betty Christine Waters Hensley, 62, passed away Tuesda,y April 27, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was secretary at Hensley & Hensley Construction and member of First Baptist Church of Walton. Mrs. Hensley was a former Walton City Council member, a Walton-Verona School system volunteer for over 30 years, and a member of Walton-Verona Alumni Hall of Fame. Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by daughter, Angel Hensley in 1969. She is survived by her husband James Hensley; a daughter, Heather Goldsberry of Dry Ridge; three sons Reggie Hensley of Walton, Shane Hensley of Warsaw, and Alex Hensley of Florence; a brother George Waters of Florence; and 6 grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hensley will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 5-9 pm at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Walton, 47 S. Main Street, Walton, Kentucky.
