Kathy was like a 2nd mom to me, she was truly a wonderful person with a great heart. She was a great friend, the kind of person you could tell anything to and she would never judge you no matter what. Her love and friendship were unconditional. She was a very loving mother and had a bond with her sons that will never be broken, Travis loves her and misses her every second of everyday. She was an amazing grandma, she loved her grand daughters more than they could ever imagine. Love you and miss you Kathy!

Mrs. Dehner, Jeff, Michelle, Lindsey, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Kathy's passing. I can't think of Kathy without remembering her sense of humor, her wonderful laugh and that beautiful hair that she was forever trying to keep straight. Whenever I think of growing up on Juarez, I think of Kathy and Johnny as well as your whole family, you always made me feel so welcome in your home. Not too long ago, I came across Johnny's graduation picture as well as a picture of Kathy at our house celebrating my birthday and I feel so fortunate to have both of those pictures. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time. I pray that God's love will bring you peace and I know that Kathy is bringing laughter to those in heaven as she did to those of us left behind.

I seen Kathy like another mom, her sense of humor and her laugh will never be forgotten. I meet Kathy at a workplace and after awhile meet her son Travis and began a true friendship with him and his family. Kathy you will be truly be missed and never forgotten. God bless you!

Kathy was my best friend in school. As happens so often in life, we lost touch in later years. I moved to Colorado and last saw Kathy when her son was only 2 or 3 years old. As my visits to Kentucky have been few. I remember Kathy's laughter and sense of humor. All those many nights watching Kathy roll her hair on orange juice cans, ironing her hair didn't work too well for her. Kathy and I had a great time together, made many great memories. I have been trying to find Kathy for the last several years only to be too late. My prayers and sympathies are being sent to her family. How well I remember all of you. You made me a part of your family also. Be at peace my dear sweet friend. I love you.
