As a single mom, the Sipple brothers took a real interest in my young son. They took him to the race track and Robert introduced him to what Robert described as the best hamburger in the world. They took Nathan with them in the 'pit' at the county fair derby to watch little Richard compete, and usually win! They let him hang out around the shop and taught him things about cars. Robert loved to cook and made meals for my son and I. My son was in the Cincinnati Boy Choir and Robert kept a book with his picture in it at the shop and told everyone who came in about what a wonderful talent my son was. He attended a concert to support my son's interest. He encouraged him to work hard and improve his grades. Things that a boy should do with his father. I regret we never got that fishing trip off the ground. Thank you Richard and Robert, for enriching my son's life at a time when he had no real father figure. You have been thought of often and will be remembered always.

Robert always was loving and compassionate. He was happy to see Jack and I when we were together. When he was having a good day he would be fun to talk with. I enjoyed our conversations. We would talk about food we liked, our animals, about Jack was like when they were kids and all of his family. He had fond memories in his life. He was hard to understand when he would do things that was bad for him. Wish I knew to help. I do not judge another person because I'm not perfect. I believe god has his plans and we will survive all our strife's. He wants us to.

You were pretty much my only friend. I am gonna miss all the time we spent on the phone talking for hours about everything. You were always such a sweet, caring person. Allyssa and I miss u soo much. I will never forget your smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with Richard Sr. Lil Rich, Andrea and the girls. If ever anything please just ask.

Your brother, uncle, great uncle, was a very good man. He had a good heart and would do anything for anyone. He would always greet everyone with THAT smile. My heart truly goes out to all the family. I don't want to be a burden to the family but I will have all of you guys in my heart and mind. May god carry you through this time and let you all have peace.

I remember going up to Richard and Son's shop and always finding you coming outside to help me with my car when Little Richard was busy....and always waving to me as I honked my horn when passing the shop. At first, I could never tell you and your brother apart...but after awhile I caught on. Thank you for always being so nice to me and helping me with my piece of crap lebaron which I eventually blew the engine in...I hope you now walk above us and look over your family,friends, and everyone else whose life you touched, if even just for a momment. -Sarah Creekmore

Robert, Thinking back over the last 28 years, the Saturdy nite dances, Gatlinburg, the marathon cooking sessions, hot water pie crust, days with Katie, raising and loving Cole, trips to Carrollton in the Trans AM, the 58 Ford, swimming parties at Tami's, follwing Daddy safely home, the sneeky repairs on his car, trip to the airport in the old car, the hours we just talked and laughed reminds me that we just knew that "Love never ends" and memories keep the ones we love alive. hey uncle its your bubby.I feel that i let you down that nite i made a promise and i broke it.I avoided your calls that nite so i didnt have to take ten minutes out of my life for you.after we found out you had left us i couldn beleave it my life was up side down.I really think i felt my heart break you were my only uncle iam not close to uncle Jack or uncle tim and you were always uncle never uncle robert just uncle.later that nite i listened to your voice mails from that nite.I am sorry for not showing up there and to here you say you heard a car outside and thought it was me and then to see one of the slides on the shade open were you were looking for me.I am sorry i let you down i feel this is my fault if i showed up you might still be here not because of the beer but maybe you wouldn have felt so lonley and knew we love you and you werent alone in this world. i still love you with all my heart you will always be uncle to me i will never have a uncle that i love and that loved me and would do anything in the world for me you will always be with me.
