Obituary of Katherine Herald

WALTON - Katherine Riley Herald, age 85, died Tuesday at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport. She was a retired packer for Durkees and was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Herald. Ms. Herald is survived by (2) daughters, Bonnie Sue Deaton of Walton and Shirley Ann Griffith of Campton, KY; son, Donald R. Herald of Morning View; brother, William Riley of Latonia; (4) grandchildren; and (4) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Friday at the Johnny Griffith Cemetery at Sebastian's Branch in Breathitt County, KY at 12 noon.
Memorials can be made to Childrens' Hospital at 3333 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229-3039.
